It can be a challenge to come up with new social media content on a day to day basis, so I’ve decided to share some ideas to trigger great posts! Whether you’re promoting on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google My Business or Tik Tok, these content ideas can help save you some time and effort!
#FBF – Flash Back Friday – post an old photo of your business (can be even from the day before, don’t overthink it!)
#TBT – Throw Back Thursday – post an old photo of yourself or your business (can be even from the day before, don’t overthink it!)
Share a meme – share or create a funny meme relatable to your industry. Use a meme generator like https://imgflip.com/memegenerator/27596988/Free
Post Review/Testimonial – Share a testimonial or review that you have gotten from a client, if you don’t have any reach out to a client and ask!
Share a Statistic – Share a fact relatable to your industry. Even if it’s obvious to you it may not be to your followers.
Promote Your Business – This is an opportunity to highlight your offer and why people should do business with you. If you do any charitable giving this is an opportunity to share that as well.
Post an inspiring quote – what motivates you to do what you do on a daily basis? Share with others!
Ask a Question – what thought provoking question can you ask to try and engage your followers to join your conversation?
Share a Tip – Can just be a tip for daily living like standing up from your desk every 30 minutes or an industry related tip.
Share a Customers Post – Don’t forget to share, like and comment on your clients social media posts! Highlight them when you can within reason, if possible.
Post a behind the scenes photo/video – record yourself on camera wishing everyone a good morning, sharing a tip, or providing valuable info. Also highlight your staff members (if you have any), acknowledge staff birthdays etc.
Make a recommendation – This can be another opportunity to highlight your business or a clients business.
Industry Article – have you read something interesting lately? Share it with your followers!
Monday Motivation – Share a positive message with your audience. Monday’s are rough for most people – start on a good note!
